Apricot Candy - from C. Annette Chapin
My husband is from Bellingham, WA and over the years I've seen a lot of beautiful flowers out there. One rose in particular caught my attention - Royal Sunset - a climbing rose. I've tried to grow it in our zone 5 climate but without success. Currently, I have 4 pots of roses, 2 of Apricot Candy and 2 of Sunstruck. They have performed beautifully and I've taken many photographs. We wintered them over in our shed, an unheated outbuilding. I am 75 yrs. and the gal who had Royal Sunset is in an assisted living house. We share our photos with her. She had lost her Royal Sunset years ago to deer. They had a beautiful waterfront property on a lake outside Olympia, WA. I have wonderful photos of her garden. Your roses are the closest thing I've been able find to her Royal Sunset. The quality of your roses is outstanding!
