We are proud to present
high quality rain barrels here at Witherspoon. These rain barrels
are manufactured by a local company right here in the Triangle of
North Carolina. They are made of recycled pickle barrels that were
saved from the landfill. Their parts are all brass and stainless steel
with a replaceable inner screen. Come on in and see these simple yet
effective rain barrels that can help to keep your yard beautiful no
matter what kind of summer mother nature throws at us. Here at Witherspoon

has Ended
Our bareroot rose season
has ended and we no longer have roses available for shiping. We have
a great selection of potted roses for pick up at our Durham or Charlotte

2008 marks our 57th year of caring for rose gardens. Presently there
are 2,500 gardens containing 77,132 rose bushes under year round care
in gardens across North Carolina. I wish I knew the number of rose
bushes grown by "DIY" rose lovers across the country who have allowed
us to be their rose coach. Each and every one of these plants is important
to us because we know that it plays a part in your enjoyment of life.
